Apart from the blog i posted before here, here, here and also a a few vlogs, here. Let me share some other places of interest as well.

Ikseondong ➡️ Insadong ➡️ Bukchon Hanok Village ➡️ Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Crowd: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shopping: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yes, you can cover all of these places within a day and if you follow the flow above, you can literally walk, saving up some transportation monies.

Ikseondong is an up coming hipster neighbourhood that just got ‘refurbish’ a few years back. Check out marie’s vlog. We’ve been here before and this place has this victorian feel. Worth exploring.

Insadong is a boring place! I would recommend you to skip it cause apart from the trick eye museum there’s nothing much to see or do. Plus the souvenirs are expensive. But since you need to walk through here to get to hanok village, you might want explore the darn place.

Bukchon Hanok Village. The main attraction for the day. Those historical looking houses are not just for show, real people stays in the houses so tourists are advice to keep their noise level low. Rent out a hanbok and have a blast taking photos around the area.

Gyeongbokgung Place. The most iconic palace in Seoul. Within the area, you can also visit National Folk and National Palace Museum of Korea. If you wearing a hanbok, you can enter the palace for FREE. Jinja!

Worth mentioning.

Samcheong-ro street – located about 10mins from hanok village, you can drop by here first before heading to the palace. The streets are super peaceful with cafes lining up the alleyways.

Halal Kitchen – feeling hungry? Head down to Mr Hassan kitchen to get some authentic Halal korean dishes. Plus you can solat here too!

Day trip

Feeling a little adventurous? I recommend you to explore one of this places outside of Seoul. To be honest, we only been to Gapyeong though. Heh.

Gapyeong

In total there’s about 4 different activities to be done here. So i advice you to reach here early in the morning. Cause the attractions are quite a distance apart.

So when you reach Gapyeong station, go buy a special day pass from the bus captain. The ticket will allow you to take unlimited bus ride that runs back and forth to all the attractions.

Gapyeong Railbike – Download Klook and buy your tickets online, you can thank me later. If you’re planning to go there as a couple book a two seater railbike. Don’t be like us, we book a railbike that is meant for 4 people. DO YOU KNOW HOW TIRING IT IS?? Haha

we bump their railbike and spilled their coffee 😅

Nami Island – This is a must to go. Why? Cause 2 different halal restaurant are located here and the place is quite relaxing. Rent a bike or you can just simply walk around the island.

Petite France & Garden of Morning Calm – Never been here before though but judging from the reviews i read online, it’s quite scenic. Maybe you can take and upload a new profile picture here 😅😅

Busan

Located on the southern tip of Korea, Busan is the second largest city after Seoul. Being a costal city, you can enjoy the sea breeze while walking along the coastline. Like real only, actually we never been here before..haha

You guys can go ahead and update me. From what i heard, it’s a boring place. So yah. 😅

Suwon

Another place in my bucket list. Famous for it’s fortress walls.

Theme Parks

Seoul is never short of a good theme park which caters to everyone needs. Safari? Crazy roller coasters? You name it, Seoul got it covered.

Lotte World

Rides: ⭐️⭐️ Activities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It may look cool on websites with both indoor and outdoor rides but in reality the place is really small and the available rides is like meh.

Everland

Rides: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Activities:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A better choice would be Everland. The place is huge AF! Apart from the rides there’s even a mini safari inside. No joke! With bears and tigers and lions and and and…

Seoul Grand Park

Rides: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Activities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you think Everland is huge, try going here. But the rides here is not up to date but hey, for a ticket that costs 70–80% cheaper compared to Everland, why complain? Heh

Wolmi Theme Park

Rides: ❓❓❓ Activities:❓❓❓

Never been here before so anyone can enlighten us? As far as we know, the admission here is FREE. So i guess when your pockets are tight but you want to bring your girlfriend out.. Yah…

Anyway you can easily get all the theme park via public transport. Legit. Except for…….

Yongma Land

Rides: ❌ Activities: ❌

The abandoned theme park. Yes you read that right but that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to be done here. You can take amazing looking Instagram worthy of 20 likes here. I will definitely include this in my next itinerary.

This is an ongoing project and i will update more whenever i get the chance. Thank you for reading and hopefully it give you a better understanding on what to do, explore and get lost.
